Susan Sarandon reunited with her friend and “Thelma & Louise” co-star Geena Davis on September 19th for Heifer International’s 2nd Annual “Beyond Hunger: A Place at the Table” gala at Montage Beverly Hills.

The gala honored Susan Sarandon’s commitment to Heifer’s goal of ending world hunger. Susan raises awareness for Heifer’s mission through events, television appearances, op-ed pieces, and field visits. Cause Effect Agency arranged her trip to Cambodia in 2011 with her daughter, actress Eva Amurri Martino, to see Heifer’s work first-hand and participate in the Passing on the Gift ceremony.
