Mark your calendars, Hope North’s founder Okello Sam will be performing his original play, Forged in Fire, in Brooklyn! Performances will take place May 2, 7, 9, 14 and 15 at the Voorhees Theatre in Downtown Brooklyn. Tickets are $20 general admission / $10 for students and on sale now.

Forged in Fire is inspired by Okello’s brother Godfrey, and uses original song, dance and humor to communicate their experiences of civil war in northern Uganda. The play will be produced in conjunction with CityTech Theatreworks and Entertainment Technology Dept, Cause Effect Agency and Jen Chapin.

Cause Effect Agency exists to promote stories that impact our world for the better. This is sure to be one of the most memorable storytelling events we have had the pleasure of helping to bring together. We advise getting your seats soon and hope to see you at one of these 5 performances.
